2 Timothy 2:2: The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also (NASB).
In partnership with CBMC, The Gathering of Men presents Operation Timothy (OT). Men have been using OT -- discipleship studies provided by CBMC, Christian Business Men’s Connection, and available digitally FREE online -- for over 40 years to disciple men. OT is now an application for online computer, iOS, and Android use, and YES the materials are available for FREE. Using these online tools to engage other men in discipling and mentoring relationships is an incredible opportunity. OT is available to take what Jesus Christ is doing in you, and reproduce it in the lives of other men, and then in turn helping them to do the same with more men (2 Timothy 2:2).
The Gathering of Men is connected to several groups of men who are using OT to disciple one another. In addition, OT is great one on one with friends or co-workers seeking to grow in their walk with Jesus Christ.
Here’s how to sign up and check out OT with a FREE online account that works on all your devices. OT (Vol. 1,2,3) is also available in booklet form and can be purchased from Amazon HERE. But for the online versions, follow these instructions to register and sign up:
- On your computer or laptop — Go to CBMC ADVANCE — Register to set up your FREE account (the same account will work on your smart phone and tablet once you've download the Advance app on those devices).
- On your smart phone and/or tablet (iOS or Android) — go to your device's App Store and search for "CBMC Advance” (look for the logo pictured above) — download the app, sign in and get started with Operation Timothy.
- OT Weekly Conference Call — Beginning in early 2019 (plans are underway), The Gathering will conduct a weekly one-hour Conference Call for anyone interested in getting started or getting refreshed in Operation Timothy, for the purpose of stepping into the 2 Timothy 2:2 journey of making disciples. Registration instructions for the weekly conference call will be announced soon.
